A New Year

We had a wonderful holiday season complete with several parties, lots of traveling, and visiting with friends and family. We are glad to be settling back down into a routine though.

We have taken the kids skiing a few times and they are almost ready for the 2022 Winter Olympics. Avery’s sport will be fashion skiing and Dex’s will be the Super Bomb (that’s racing straight down the hill with no snowplow or turns!)

Avery went to a Jazz game with her dad and is now a lifelong fan. Dex settled to stay home with me and have an ice cream sundae. He knows that it’s his turn next.

Maddie is sleeping about 11 or 12 hours now. She is a happy little girl and we are just waiting for her to start giggling.

I just started a bootcamp and wake up 3 times a week before 6 am. That’s a big deal for me, and I wouldn’t be able to do it without Maddie’s sleep schedule. I have also given up chocolate (for this week only!) It’s only Tuesday so we’ll see how it goes.

Trevin’s practice is getting ready to move into a new building. He will be excited to get his own office. He has also been skiing a lot. I think he might be too old for a spot on the Olympic team. Maybe he could qualify as the team eye doctor.

Beautiful family (except of course for Trevin). I love all of Maddie's little bows. Sarah says "Hi" also!

Giving up chocolate??! Well my friend, you are a stronger woman than I. May the force be with you!

Thanks for the invite. It's fun to catch up with your family news and excellent photojournalism :) Congradulations to Maddie - she's joined a wonderful family.
